Ouverture de notre colloque "Face à la drogue et à son trafic"

Ce matin, le recteur Chems-eddine Hafiz ouvrait notre colloque "Face à la drogue et à son trafic" : « la lutte contre la drogue se gagnera aussi dans les consciences, dans l’éducation, dans la transmission des valeurs. a-t-il expliqué dans son discours. C’est ici que les religions ont une responsabilité particulière. Les musulmans, les chrétiens, les juifs, les croyants de toutes traditions, et les personnes sans foi religieuse mais attachées à une éthique humaniste, doivent s’engager dans ce combat ».
Deux tables rondes ont ensuite pris place pour revenir respectivement sur deux dimensions essentielles : le danger de la drogue pour la santé, avec Sadek Beloucif, Amine Benyamina et Myriam Edjlali-Goujon, puis son danger pour la société, avec Michel Kokoreff, Nacer Lalam et Fabrice Rizzoli.
Notre colloque s’est poursuivi cet après-midi avec une table ronde interreligieuse entre le pasteur Gilles Boucomont et notre imam Cheikh Abdelali Mamoun, montrant que la foi peut lutter contre ce fléau, puis avec un nouvel échange entre l’avocate Dominique Attias et l’éducateur Vincent Fritsch, rappelant le besoin de raviver le lien social.
Pour conclure, nous avons reçu pour la deuxième fois (après sa visite en décembre dernier) Amine Kessaci : un témoignage poignant et engagé, recueilli par la journaliste Amina Kalache.

This conference on the fight against drug trafficking highlights the crucial role of education and interfaith dialogue in addressing such a pressing issue. It's inspiring to see leaders from different backgrounds come together for a common cause.
